Geekatana Game Review: Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is one of those games I played a long while back but have either forgotten or simply had too much time doing other stuff that I didn't have time to do a review on my Blog. And yet still it's one of those Indie games that can grows on you and I've encountered a lot of these kinds before.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is the fourth game in the Momodora series. Although I haven't played the first three games before I did do some simple research on the previous three games before writing this review to be fair.

The Bowsette Phenomenon

If you have been lurking the internet for a while now you might want to have known about Bowsette that have taken the internet community by storm since this whole thing started around roughly nearly three weeks about. Surely by now you might have seen photos and pics of Bowsette by now in social media and in mostly anything otaku or game related.

Well I did a bit of research on the matter to save you folks time and I'm going to share my thoughts on the matter. But before we delve further I'd like to announce that I don't own any of the video or photos used for this Blog article its only there for reference and all rights are to their respective owners.

Bumblebee Movie Second Trailer Reaction

The second Bumble Bee movie trailer just dropped and I've decided to share my thoughts and reaction to it. I've been following this movie progress as far back as rumors of it began surfacing as far back as the Transformers the Last Knight film. You folks can watch my trailer reaction and overall thoughts about the first trailer of Bumble Bee in the link here.

With a new trailer dropping on the internet I've decided to check it out. This would be the second trailer they would release for the movie and gave pretty much viewers what we would expect in the new film.

The House with a Clock in its Walls

Ill be honest I don't know anything about this film aside from seeing the trailer while watching another movie and seeing Jack Black starring in it. So one could say one of the reason I've decided to watch this was because of Jack Black himself whom I've liked since his role in School of Rock all the way to his voicing of the adorable and funny  Po in Kung-fu Panda. Plus Cate Blanchett is in this film.

I know watching a film just cause you like a certain actor or actress isn't exactly a good thing but to be fair I did a bit of research about this film before writing this review. Plus I feel  watching a fantasy comedy that isn't a harry Potter is a nice change of pace.

Geekatana Anime Review: Hundred

Hundred is one of those anime that despite the title has nothing to do with math. It was recommended to me by a friend who is also an avid anime watcher. I clearly have no idea what to expect when diving into this one and I didn't even know such a series existed but then again I'm not the most up to date when it comes to anime series.

I read somewhere on the internet that this series feels a lot like Infinity Stratos. I still haven't watched Infinity Stratos so I won't hold the anime Hundred against it and will judge this anime based on its merit and comparing it to other anime that I'm more familiar with.

Miss Granny (2018) Review

I'm not a big fan of Sarah Geronimo. I'd agree that she is an excellent singer and decent dancer but her acting hasn't strike me as that impressive. I guess I'm the type that wants a deeper story or something original. Sure Sarah Geronimo had movies that gross millions in the local box offices and maybe even abroad but sadly they don't cater to my taste. Most of the local films in the Philippines in general often has over used or original plot and bad acting that I'd rather spend my money watching something else.

The movie Miss Granny was sadly no different as I found out after leaving the theater from my sister is based off from an existing korean film that came out back in 2014 roughly around 4 years before this film came out.

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation movie review

Hotel Transylvania 3 Summer Vacation is the third installment of the Hotel Transylvania series under Sony. Me and my sister happened to watched this film on opening day in 4D. I've already watched and reviewed the first two Hotel Transylvania movies and I'm curious on where they will take this movie next.

Rest assured though that I've stayed away from spoilers for this one. So with that being cleared and out of the way let's get on with the review.

Geekatana game Review: Crimson Sea 2

The reason I picked up Crimson Sea 2 cause I was blown away by the graphics and the good review Crimson Sea got on the XBox. Since I'm no alien to jumping on game sequels even without even playing the first game like when I played Zone of the Enders 2 without even playing the first Zone of the Enders game. Besides I doubt Ill get my hands on an XBox anytime soon so might as well go with what is available.

I'm a big fan of hack and slash game and KOEI is one of my favorite company when it comes to hack and slash genre since its the one responsible for the Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and Orochi series respectively.

Christopher Robin Movie Review

Me and my sister went to see Christopher Robin in theaters a few days after opening day. I have very little to no knowledge of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh aside from Pooh being this yellow bear animal stuff toy that for some reason can eat honey and Christopher Robin being this kid he hangs out with.

Thankfully I did a little bit of research on the matter before delving into this review so I can judge the movie fairly in this regard.

Geekatana Anime Review: Blood+

I'll admit that I'm a sucker (<--pun intended) for vampires. Sadly not every vampire related medium landed for me regardless. Specially not the movie Twilight and specially not Blood the Last Vampire, that vampire anime movie that came out back in the year 2000. I guess I'm very picky when it comes to getting my vampire fix.

So why am I now reviewing the anime Blood+ which is a vampire anime based on, if not the continuation of the animated movie Blood the Last vampire of all things. Well let's just say even a broken clock is right at least two times in a day.
