Violent Night - Santa taking out some of his Naughty List

Violent Night is a Christmas action comedy movie that is directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. I was planning to do this review before Christmas as well but I was a bit too busy during the Holidays to get it done. Also there will be minor spoilers.

It follow a disgruntled Santa Claus portrayed by David Harbour as he fights a bunch of mercenary crooks who have taken a wealthy family as hostage in their own very home. The movie also stars Alex HassellAlexis LouderEdi PattersonCam Gigandet, John Leguizamo Leah Brady, and Beverly D'Angelo.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury - Suletta Potter and Gundam Space Academy

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury directed by both Hiroshi Kobayashi and Ryō Andō and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi. It is the first mainline gundam series in seven years and the first TV series in the franchise to feature a female protagonist…not counting the movies and manga.

The series centers on Suletta a timid girl with a dark past as she tries to fit in at a school that trains robot pilots. Along with  The series has themes of the dangers of new technologies. Along it are the usual themes of political corruption, capitalism and revenge often found in a gundam franchise.

86: Second Season - Bigger and badder Legions, same old 86 Group

This will be my review of the anime series. 86: EIGHTY-SIX  is a series produced by Aniplex and production led by A-1 Pictures, a and synonymously known as simply 86, is an anime adaptation of Asato Asato's sci-fi light novel series published by ASCII Media Works. The series takes place where the first season left off introducing new characters as well as retaining some of the old ones.

I plan to do this review earlier but I was having trouble on how would I approach the review as the second Season of 86 left me with mixed reactions. Since I’ll be touching some aspects of Season 1 there will be spoilers in this for you if you haven’t seen the first Season yet. You can read my review of Season 1 here. I would suggest reading that first before going into this one.

Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense - If I Cannot Kill a Boss...I'll Eat It

Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense is an anime series adaptation by Silver Link based on a light novel series written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin. The manga version of Bofuri however was done by Jirō Oimoto has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's under their magazine Comp Ace. The light novel having 12 volumes and the manga currently at 6 volumes.

I was supposed to make a review of the first season when it first came out but I guess I sort of forgot about it. And as of the writing of this review Season 2 episode 1 of Bofuri has already dropped online so I guess now is a good time as any to do this review. Also minor spoilers ahead.

Guardian of the Galaxy Holiday Special - Drax and Mantis Search for the Holiday Bacon

Guardian of the Galaxy Holiday Special was written and directed by James Gunn for the streaming service Disney+, It’s a Action-Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy story made for the Holidays and is the second Marvel Studio Presentation under the Marvel Cinematic Universe and shares continuity with of both tv series and movies of the franchise.

The Holiday Special follows the Guardians of the galaxy as they celebrate Christmas and they search for an unlikely Christmas present for the teams leader Peter Quill. It also serves as a conclusion of Marvels Phase Four of the MCU and tying up some odd lose ends. Also minor spoilers ahead.

Rage of Bahamut GENESIS - If Samurai Shamploo was a fantasy anime with demons and dragons

Rage of Bahamut GENESIS is the first anime series produced by MAPPA that is based on the Rage of the Bahamut game which is a digital collectible card game developed by Cygames and published by DeNA. The anime Rage of the Bahamut is one of 3 games based on said card game and GENESIS being considered the first season of the three.

The plot revolves around the revival of the silver winged Bahamut using two mystical keys from its two thousand year old prison. With her memory lost a mysterious girl Amira unknowingly holding one half of the key. Two bounty hunters Favaro and Kaiser joins her on her journey to find her lost mother as groups of demons, god and humans hunts the trio down for their own personal reasons. RWBY Ice Queendom - RWBY vs the Grimm of Dreams

Based on the American wed series RWBY created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth, RWBY: Ice Queendom is an anime series co produced by Rooster Teeth and Studio Shaft, The story is a 12 spun off episode from the original 3d animated series as introduces a new type of Grimm called Nightmare that attacks and drains its targets via the persons dreams.

RWBY Ice Queendom is an anime is seeking to tell its own original story, building off the events of the earlier volumes of the original show. I’d suggest watching the original Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum version before watching this one. Or watch this one and watch the original afterwards as this series takes a lot changes from the original. Also minor spoilers are in effect.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED - a sci fi racist war with mechs

Developed by Sunrise and directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED that aired between 2002 and 2003. It was aired in the Tokyo Broadcasting System Television and MBS TV networks, beginning a broadcast partnership with the Gundam franchise. It spawned three compilation movies and was later adapted into a manga and light novel. The series was licensed by Bandai Entertainment for broadcast in North America, and began airing in the United States and Canada in 2004.

The series was directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, with music by Toshihiko Sahashi. It is the first of the Gundam franchise set in the "Cosmic Era" in which humankind is divided between normal Earth dwelling humans, known as "Naturals", and the genetically altered super-humans known as "Coordinators". The show also inspired a spin off manga called Gundam SEED Atray.

Top Gun Maverick - Veteran pilot teaches Top Gun pilots for Impossible Mission

Top Gun: Maverick is a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun with Tom Cruise reprising his starring role as the naval aviator Maverick. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren KrugerEric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie based on a story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks, that are based on characters of the original film created by Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr. It also stars Val KilmerMiles TellerJennifer ConnellyJon HammGlen PowellLewis Pullman, and Ed Harris.

The film tells the story of Pete "Maverick" Mitchell callsign Maverick as he is task in training a group of younger Top Gun graduates, including the son of his deceased best friend, for a dangerous mission. A past Maverick regrets so much. Also spoilers ahead.

Akame ga Kill - the anime version of the Game of Thrones but more bloody

Akame ga Kill is an anime series based on a manga written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. It was serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker that spans 15 volumes. The anime series was directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and written by Makoto Uezu under studio White Fox. Also Takahiro supervised the anime with Taku Iwasaki composing the shows music.

The anime was licensed by Sentai Filmworks back in 2014 and is one of the most watched anime in its time block. It follows the story of Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his home only to discover strong corruption in the area and soon was recruited by Night Raid an assassin group that fights these corrupt Empire.

Peter Grill and the Philosophers Time - the tale of Peter Grill and his Peter Sauce

 Based on a Japanese fantasy manga series by Daisuke Hiyama, Peter Grill and the Philiosophers Time is an anime television series adaptation by Wolfsbane. Its directed by Tatsumi, with Nora Mōri writing the scripts and Rui Ishige designing the characters.

Peter Grill after being crowned the strongest man in the world promised to marry Luvelia Sanctus and remain pure for her. However, the ogre sisters Mimi and Lisa Alpacas want his seed in order to give birth to strong offspring. In fact a lot of the other girls from other races sets their sight on Peter with the same goal making his life rather complicated.

Wednesday (tv series) - Basically a What If of Nancy Drew if she was a snarky Goth girl

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Wednesday is a horror comedy tv series that is based based upon the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega as the main character. Also four of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, he serves also as the shows executive producer.

The series revolves around the titular character, who attempts to solve a monster mystery at her school. It mixes dark comedy and horror element with mystery solving element. I was planning to do this review during November but I couldn’t finish the series fast enough. Anyways on with the review and minor spoilers flag is up just in case.

Nikke: Goddess of Victory - Gun wielding Waifu vs Anime Terminators

Goddess of Victory: Nikke  is a third-person sci-fi themed railgun style shooter game developed by Shift Up and is published by Level Infini...
