86: Second Season - Bigger and badder Legions, same old 86 Group

This will be my review of the anime series. 86: EIGHTY-SIX  is a series produced by Aniplex and production led by A-1 Pictures, a and synonymously known as simply 86, is an anime adaptation of Asato Asato's sci-fi light novel series published by ASCII Media Works. The series takes place where the first season left off introducing new characters as well as retaining some of the old ones.

I plan to do this review earlier but I was having trouble on how would I approach the review as the second Season of 86 left me with mixed reactions. Since I’ll be touching some aspects of Season 1 there will be spoilers in this for you if you haven’t seen the first Season yet. You can read my review of Season 1 here. I would suggest reading that first before going into this one.

My Top 12 Anime of 2022

2022 is almost over so I have decided to make a TOP 12 Anime of 2022 list. This is 12 of what I think is some of the must watch anime of 2022. This list covers the whole 2022 anime. So if it first aired in 2022 its probably on the list. Why 12 you ask? Well 10 is a bit small since there are really a lot of good anime that came out this year. I would like to add that all of these are new anime so sequels don’t count, only the first seasons. So don’t expect to see anime like Overlord Season 4 on this list.

Also these are anime that I have watched and familiar with so certain so there is definitely not a definitive list. If you like an anime that isn’t on here then by all means go ahead and watch it. Also everyone has their own opinion on what is best for them so take this as just a suggestion. Anyways let us get on with the Top 12 list.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation - a more realistic approach at the isekai anime genre

A television series adaptation by Studio Bind from a manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa in June 2014 issue of Monthly Comic FlapperSeven Seas Entertainment licensed the tankōbon volumes of the manga for localization in North America. The series is about a jobless and hopeless man who dies after having a sad and withdrawn life and reincarnates in a fantasy world while keeping his memories, determined to enjoy his new life without regrets.

According to many light novel readers, Mushoku Tensei is the grandfather of modern day isekai. Pretty much a benchmark on how isekai anime should be as It popularized a lot of the themes we see in isekai including the idea of "Truck-kun." Whether its true or not really depends on how you view it. In any case lets just dive into the review for now. Oh and spoiler warning too.

Spy x Family (Season 1) - Mr and Mrs Smith anime with the charm of a spy comedy

An anime series produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Spy x family is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, with character designs handled by Kazuaki Shimada. The show is based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. The story follows a spy who has to "build a family" to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as his daughter is a telepath, and the woman he agrees to be in a marriage with is a skilled assassin

I’ve already read roughly two chapters of the manga before even watching a single episode of the anime so I sort of had an idea what to expect diving into Spy x Family. That being said I was still skeptical how they will turn into the anime it is now.  Also minor spoilers.
