Jumanji the Next Level - Doubling Up on Everything Jumanji

Jumanji: The Next Level is a 2019 American fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Kasdan, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. The film is the sequel to 1995's Jumanji that starred Robin Williams, following 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. It is fourth installment, overall, in the Jumanji franchise. 

I only watched the film yesterday as the writing of this review so I'm really late in this one. I've watched Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle so I've decided to do a review on this one as well. Minor spoilers are in effect just to be sure.

The House with a Clock in its Walls

Ill be honest I don't know anything about this film aside from seeing the trailer while watching another movie and seeing Jack Black starring in it. So one could say one of the reason I've decided to watch this was because of Jack Black himself whom I've liked since his role in School of Rock all the way to his voicing of the adorable and funny  Po in Kung-fu Panda. Plus Cate Blanchett is in this film.

I know watching a film just cause you like a certain actor or actress isn't exactly a good thing but to be fair I did a bit of research about this film before writing this review. Plus I feel  watching a fantasy comedy that isn't a harry Potter is a nice change of pace. 

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Spoiler Free Review

Finally got to Watch Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle booked a 9 o clock screening as early as 4 o clock since Ive wanted to see this since December last year. Since the Philippines held the Metro Manila Film Festival last December the movie Jumanji: Welcome the Jungle was moved to a much later date to January 8 instead of the December 21 as it was originally intended. I've tried to stay away from movie reviews and pretty much anything pertaining to this film in preparation for making this review. I had watched the first Jumanji (1995) movie years ago when I was a kid and ive re-watched it and done a review of the first film in preparation for this new film.

This is a spoiler free review since I feel this is a movie that everyone should experience watching themselves.

Jumaniji: Welcome to the Jungle is directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg, and Jeff Pinkner, from a story by McKenna. Its the second installment in the Jumanji franchise, based on the 1981 children's book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg. It is a stand-alone sequel to Jumanji(1995). It stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale.
