Geekatana Movie Review: Bumblebee

With Bumblebee finally showing throughout theaters in the Philippines I finally got to see the movie and do a review on it. Folks in other countries have already seen it and there's a lot of movie review going on the internet since early December last year. I wanted to see Bumblebee and judge the film without being swayed by other opinions so I stayed away from spoilers and reviews until I got my own review out.

Being one of many Transformers fan who watched the 80's Transformers cartoons I got high hopes for this film.  The Bay films are decent but not exactly the Transformers film I wanted. The previous Transformers films diverts from the source material way too much for my liking. The trailers showed much promise but still I kept an open mind.

Bumblebee Movie Second Trailer Reaction

The second Bumble Bee movie trailer just dropped and I've decided to share my thoughts and reaction to it. I've been following this movie progress as far back as rumors of it began surfacing as far back as the Transformers the Last Knight film. With a new trailer dropping on the internet I've decided to check it out. This would be the second trailer they would release for the movie and gave pretty much viewers what we would expect in the new film.

Bumblebee Teaser Trailer Reaction

A new movie teaser trailer just dropped and I was so excited about it that I'd decided to make quick reaction about it. And that trailer would be the new Bumblebee Trailer.

I heard about this movie in production right around when Transformers the Last Knight movie hit theaters. I'm a huge fan of the original Transformers cartoon and despite my mix reaction the state of Transformers movie over the past years I still have high hopes for this franchise.

Ferdinand Movie Spoiler Free Review

I just watched the movie Ferdinand in theaters. Its one of those movies that I was curious about last year. It was supposed to be aired sometime December last year but due again to the Metro Manila Film Festival that happens December it was moved at a later date along with a couple of other movies. Like most movies I am not familiar with I went into the theater with low expectation and an open mind. So to judge the movie fairly I went home after watching the film and did some quick research before writing this review and wow did I discovered a lot.

Ferdinand an animated comedy, drama adventure by Blue Sky Studios, Davis Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Animation. it was based on Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson's children's book The Story of Ferdinand, written by Robert L. Baird, Tim Federle and Brad Copeland and directed by Carlos Saldanha. Its about a big bull that is mistaken as a dangerous beast. The film features the voices of John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Anthony Anderson, Bobby Cannavale, Peyton Manning, Gina Rodriguez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and David Tennant.
