GameCon PH 2018

GameCon was held last February 11-12 at the Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall Philippines. I nearly was not able to go this year but managed to go since I was not really feeling well a few days before the said Convention but thankfully my fever subsided enough for me to attend. Weather has been rather fickle that month and it was not good. Was planning to post this earlier but things keep piling up on my end that it sort of took the backseat. Mostly a really busy schedule.

GameCon was a computer and video game centered Convention with the first one being held around July last year that was also held at SM Megamall. It held game tournaments, cosplay tournaments among its many attractions.

Philippine Gunpla Expo 2018

Gundam fans are given a treat as the Gunpla Expo finally arrived in Philippine shores. And Gundam fans from all over the Metro is feeling the hype since the Expo hads been known for its giant size Gundam displays and extensive collection of Gundam from the many different Gundam series in its more than 30 years of Gundam franchise for sale and on display.

Gundam Expo is an annual on-site sale exhibition of Gundam toy/model kits by the most famous toy company Bandai. The first Gunpla Expo has dated as far back as 2012 at Akihabara UDX's AKIBA_SQUARE in Tokyo Japan.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck it Ralph 2 Official Teaser Trailer just dropped recently on youtube and being a fan of the first Wreck it Ralph 2 movie I've decided to break it down as much as I could. This is just a teaser trailer so I doubt we would get much out from this one but we can always make fan theories of our own.

For those not familiar with the series Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2 was an upcoming sequel to Wreck It Ralph. The first movie was both fun, adventurous with enough comedy and a heartwarming surprisingly good story to boot. It also had a ton of video game character cameos for every game nerd on the planet. And fans have been asking for a sequel since it first shown in theaters.

ReBoot the Guardian Code Trailer Reaction

The trailer for the ReBoot the Guardian Code has recently dropped on youtube and being a fan of the original Reboot cartoons I thought Id break it down and see how it holds up compared to the original ReBoot show. 

ReBoot the Guardian Code is a mix of live action and animation about the adventures of four teenagers who become the Next-Generation Guardians of Cyberspace with the help of an artificially intelligent bio-constructed teenage girl. Its still unclear if this connects to the original Reboot show or not but Im guessing they are making their own ReBoot version out of the original cartoon that aired back in the 90's. This new show is a Netflix Original Series set to debut worldwide on March 30th.

The First Game of the PSL Grand Prix 2018

February 17 marks the very first game of the PSL Grand Prix 2018. Im not a die hard fan of volleyball but I do enjoy a good game. I played a couple of few sports games back in high school and volleyball happen to be one of them. I also watched a few games when I have time on TV every now and then. So when I get my hands on some tickets to watch the first game live at the Ynares Center in Pasig I was super excited.

PSL (Philippine Super Liga) Grand Prix Conference is the first conference and indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. It started way back in 2013 with women making up the rosters on its initial game. Men  volleyball league was added the year after

The Glass House Flowers Review

Valentine's Day have just ended but that doesnt mean your celebration ends there. I had a chance to get these a few days before Valentine's Day and they still look as nice and as fresh as the day they were delivered. These were bought through Paypal via Instagram from the Glass House Flowers. I was lucky to have the item delivered last Feb 9 2018. Was planning to post a quick review of this on or before valentine's Day but due to a busy schedule I wasnt able to get to it. As the saying goes...better late than never. besides I feel flowers like these fit nearly any occasion and not just on Valentine's Day.

The Glass House Flowers is an Online Flower Boutique and has no actual shop as so much of these flowers are ordered through their Instagram account or through their facebook or Online.

Black Panther Spoiler Free Movie Review

I just watched an advance screening of Black Panther with my partner late last night. Just came from a very busy Tuesday work day. I was half tired and half sleepy going into the movie theater but I still enjoyed the movie and managed to take enough notes to make this spoiler free review. This is a two hour and a half movie and my popcorn was already cold halfway through it. Some call this the first ever superhero movie with its general cast of character being made entirely of black people. I am super excited at the concept alone as there are a lot of talented black folks that should be given more recognition. Ill try not to dive into spoiler territory for this one although I will probably be touching on things that has already been shown in the trailers and the likes.

Black Panther is a film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced under Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney., it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay by him and Joe Robert Cole. It stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

The Dessert Museum In-depth Review

You ever dream of what its like to sleep under sheets made of cotton candy? Maybe you wished to experience a what it feels like standing under a rain of sweets. If either of the two tickles your fancy then this might be the place for you. A Dessert Museum recently opened in the local Metro and me and my sweet toothed partner decided to get an early bird booking on the opening date which was on February 10, 2018. Sadly since this place seem to be the new hot trend in the City we couldnt get an earlier time slot so we had to settle for something around after dinner time. 

Be warned that this is a spoiler filled review of the place so if you want to experience it yourself please stop reading this article although theres really nothing much I can add that isnt already featured in news articles and the internet before. With that out of the way lets continue.

The Dessert Museum located at S. Mason Conrad at Conrad Manila. Its basically just behind the SM MOA SMX Building before the Bay Area. It boast unique 8 dessert-themed rooms where you can visually, mentally and gastronomically enjoy.

Venom Official Teaser Trailer Breakdown

The first Venom Official Teaser Trailer just dropped and its looking good. So I decided to break it down to see if we can get an idea on whats the movie is going to be about. So far before the teaser trailer we just know that its a solo Venom movie that will not be part of the MCU so we wont be expecting to see peter parker or other marvel characters to be showing up on this...but who really knows for sure.

This being just a teaser trailer I don't expect seeing much but  let still break it down and lets all still see what we can find.

Otaku Expo 2018

February 3 and 4, 2018 marks the date where Otaku Expo 2018 was held. Much like Otaku Expo last year it is once again held at SM Megamall. I've been attending this event both as a cosplayer and a convention attendee for a few years now and I guess its only fitting that I attend this again. This time covering it with my Blog.

Otaku Expo is a cosplay/otaku event thats been held annually since as far back as 2011 with every event loyally being held at SM Megamall.

Deadpool Meets Cable Trailer Reaction

A new Deadpool 2 trailer just dropped on youtube and its looking good. This one features one of our favorite time hopping soldier from the future Cable. The sort of friend enemy partner something of Deadpool from the future.

Right off the bat may I say how much I love how Cable looks so much like his comic version on the film. The scar on his right eye his cybernetic glowing left eye and his crazy assortment of guns. Not to mention aside from his cybernetic arm if you look closely you can see some metallic parts on his neck as well.
