A new Deadpool 2 trailer just dropped on youtube and its looking good. This one features one of our favorite time hopping soldier from the future Cable. The sort of friend enemy partner something of Deadpool from the future.
Right off the bat may I say how much I love how Cable looks so much like his comic version on the film. The scar on his right eye his cybernetic glowing left eye and his crazy assortment of guns. Not to mention aside from his cybernetic arm if you look closely you can see some metallic parts on his neck as well.
Its not clear whats Cables role on the film yet but judging by the trailer he wants Deadpool bad. If you are familiar with how the 80's and 90's comic story goes with time traveling mutants from the future its either he will kill someone from the past or protect someone to alter the future and it can go either way. Its anyone's guess at this point. It would be fun if the movie and Deadpool pokes fun of how Wolverine and the X-men has done this sort of story before.
This is probably not in the movie but Id like to compliment how they have a Toy Story reference in this new trailer. Right down to the names on the foot of the toys Deadpool is playing with. You got to love how they do fourth wall breaks even at trailers.
Not sure who this person is but judging by the suit and the collar on the neck this person is probably a mutant prisoner or test subject by the DMC (Department of Mutant Control)
Whats Cable without his big guns. Expect to see him wield some really big futuristic weaponry on this one since this time travelling dude is well known for carrying them around to unleash mayhem. Would be extra points if Deadpool comments about his look and choice of weaponry in the movie as well.
Pretty much most of the cast from the first Deadpool movie will be coming back for the second movie it seems. So characters like Blind Al, Dopender and Weasel will be adding their brand of fun and chaos in the mix. We love them in the first movie so why not.
Here we got that DMC truck that is probably used to transport mutants and what not from their facility. Something we see Cable and Deadpool fight on.
And here we see Wade using a frying pan against an opponent. Got to love how they are keeping well with Deadpools character of improvisation of weapons on the fly.
We are probably going to see more of Negasonic mutant ability on the next movie...well maybe. Theres also a brief show of Domino and Wade taking out some guys in white suits. And judging by the poster in Dominos scene this is from an anti mutant facility of sort. And yes thats Deadpool going to lay some hurt using a brick.
Theres also a scene where Cable takes out some armed DMC soldiers. yeah those DMC really seem like trouble for Cable and Deadpool.
Theres also this shot with Cable in some sort of futuristic scene and that Teddy Bear which a lot of Cable fans will know is connected to Cables backstory in some way and that girl he hangs around with in the comics named Hope.
There are probably a lot more stuff in the trailer than I can notice but either way Im definitely hyped for the new Deadpool movie. Im not expecting a really deep storyline since Deadpool really rarely does world saving stuff liek the Avengers and the other Superhero out there. Its just some good old Deadpool fun.
