The Glass House Flowers Review

Valentine's Day have just ended but that doesnt mean your celebration ends there. I had a chance to get these a few days before Valentine's Day and they still look as nice and as fresh as the day they were delivered. These were bought through Paypal via Instagram from the Glass House Flowers. I was lucky to have the item delivered last Feb 9 2018. Was planning to post a quick review of this on or before valentine's Day but due to a busy schedule I wasnt able to get to it. As the saying goes...better late than never. besides I feel flowers like these fit nearly any occasion and not just on Valentine's Day.

The Glass House Flowers is an Online Flower Boutique and has no actual shop as so much of these flowers are ordered through their Instagram account or through their facebook or Online.

All of their flower arrangement was sadly sold out but was lucky enough that they still got the Ecuadorian Roses still available. Its a bit expensive than what Id expect but this is valentines and Im a big fan of roses. They sort of go up there with Cattleya flowers for me.

So barely thinking much about it I bought a set and ws fortunate to get them before Valentines Day drop. I recently checked as teh writing of this Review and most of their flower arrangement has all been sold out until March. You can check their facebook here and their Instagram page here.

The Signature Collection are FRESH Ecuadorian & Holland roses that lasts around 10-14 days. They came in acryllic Crystal boxes with water inside that acts also as the vase. The container is fragile and should be handled with care. They come in petite and Premium sizes which are 9 roses and a 25 set box. I took the petite set as its one of the shops best sellers.

Other sets are the The Mini Fleur is an Ecuadorian rose treated in chemical using the Japanese method to last for up to 2 years without water. It last a lot longer but its just a single flower unlike the Sinature Collection which comes in a set. The TGHF Surprise Box is a one Rose arrangement that comes with a cute box. Its ideal for gifts since you cant really see the flower inside until you open it. The Belle Fleur is a Large Ecuadorian Rose enclosed in a glass dome. If you watched the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast then you know what this type of flower arrangement looks like. They come in regular and large sizes. The Velvet Blooms are a variety of flowers arranged in a luxurious suede boxes and comes in small and large sizes. Pink being the small one and Grey being the large version. Fleurever Box are half dozen roses that comes in a crystal box much like the Signature Collection but its smaller and its crystal case has a a slid drawer for keepsakes and is the shops latest set version set to date.

WHY ECUADORIAN FLOWERS?

Ecuadorian Flowers are a bit bigger than your standard flowers as Ecuador's high altitude (2,800-3,000 m) causes these flowers to increase in size. With its cool night makes it ideal for growing flowers. being located near the Equator it receives consistent daylight all year round.

Due to the consistent sunlight flowers here can grow at a higher level than in most places i nthe world. Flowers grown in higher level have been known to have a longer growth span than those grown at sea level, meaning these flowers last longer than your ordinary flowers you can get elsewhere. Ecuador is also so biologically diverse that around 25,000 species of plants and flowers grow there.

Overall the Glass House Flower sets are a bit too expensive for a lot of folks but considering the quality of these flowers i could say these flowers are worth every penny it cost to buy them. I would not recommend this for everyone specially with a tight budget but for those who can afford to splurge on the cash a few times a year for that special someone this is probably one of the things to go for.
