Geekatana Review - Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn - Harley Quinn and Others

Birds of Prey  superhero film based on the team Birds of Prey comics from DC. It is the eighth film in the DC Extended Universe, and both a follow-up to and spin-off of Suicide Squad (2016). Directed by Cathy Yan and written by Christina Hodson, and stars Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong, and Ewan McGregor.

This is a bit of an overdue movie review so bear with me on this one. I also like to point out before we get into it all that I haven't watched Suicide Squad so I won't be comparing or referencing it as I do the review for this film. Also there might also be minor spoilers.

Gundam Exhibit - Gundam, Freebies, Discounts and a Whole Lot More

Gundam Exhibit 2020 is currently ongoing in SM Mall of Asia from January 27 - to February 2, 2020. Expect a lot of discount, contest, gunpla on display and a lot more for gundam fanatics on this week long event.

I was lucky enough to have half the Mondays off to visit the exhibit and take a few photos and check out the event area itself. And I was not disappointed.

Geekatana Review - Spies in Disguise - A spy comedy film done with Flying Colors

Spies in Disguise is spy comedy film directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane produced by  Blue Sky Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is somewhat based on the 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible by Lucas Martell.

I was originally going to give this movie a pass since the trailer didn't impress me as much. Safe to say I went into this film with low expectations. Certainly the trailer didn't give this movie justice. Also minor spoilers flag is up just in case.

Manila Hobbies & Collectibles Convention 2020 is the a most beloved event for toy fans and collectors alike. If you are into toys new toys, retro toys, Gundam or even anything geek and otaku related from action figures to shirts you will find something to love.

This two day event covering from january 18-19 is one of the first event of the year 2020 for me. It was held in Megamall MEGATRADE HALL 3 at the 5th level of SM Megamall. And being a casual toy enthusiast as I am I simply cannot pass this one and decided cover it on my Blog.
