Gundam Exhibit - Gundam, Freebies, Discounts and a Whole Lot More

Gundam Exhibit 2020 is currently ongoing in SM Mall of Asia from January 27 - to February 2, 2020. Expect a lot of discount, contest, gunpla on display and a lot more for gundam fanatics on this week long event.

I was lucky enough to have half the Mondays off to visit the exhibit and take a few photos and check out the event area itself. And I was not disappointed.

First off they have this giant replica statue of the gundam RX-78 both in the normal and SD form. A very familiar gundam for any gundam fan. They also have a burning gundam and some other statue at the back you can take a selfie and photo op from.

And what would any gundam event be without the usual free starter kits. Building a starter kit is what got me hooked on gunpla and although not a hardcore fan I do have my own small gundam collection at home.

Of course the best part are the gunpla and they got 50% off on selected gunpla merchandise. And they got tons of SD, RG and HG kits on Sale. They are also giving away a free weapon option pack for every HG kits you buy. So aside from buying an HG kit at a discount price you also get a Weapon pack free with every purchase.

Being an HG gunpla collector I simply cannot pass this opportunity and bought an Earthree Gundam which is a kit I have wanted to get for a few days since deciding to collect from that series line not too long ago. I already bought a Marsfour gundam. Say what you will about Re RISE and the gundam itself but I'm absolutely loving the kit. Specially on how customization and swap friendly core armor sets are.

The weapon pack comes in at least four weapon loadout to choose from bazooka to Gatling guns, to beam cannon and swords. I got the rifle option kit since Im into those type of weapon load outs for my gunpla.

Sadly still no Hello kitty SD kits available but they do have a lot of SD kits and half the price so if your into SD kits now is the best time to grab them. Sadly no Re RISE May Doll yet. Not even a Diver Nami or Diver Sarah, the two Doll kits I've been wanting to get I guess those are even harder to come by. And no Operation V set as well.  

If you want to check out the Gundam Exhibit and get yourself a gunpla kit yourself the event will run all the way for Feb 2 so still plenty of time. Hurry though as the freebies such as the weapon kit they are giving away with every HG kit are only until supplies last.
