My Top 10 Isekai Protagonist

With isekai becoming somewhat a trend for quite a while now I've finally decided to make my Top 10 list of Isekai anime protagonist just for the heck of it. I've been wanting to make one for a long time but can't decide how in depth I would make it since Isekai theme can date as far as Aura battler and Rayearth. Eventually I decided to focus on recent Isekai animes. Sorry El Hazard.

To those that still don't know what Isekai anime are they are anime where the main character is brought to another world or dimension be it the future, the past or an entire new dimension. This places also cover past future and even inside of video games.

10 Touya Mochizuki

From In Another World with my Cellphone Touya takes the ninth spot for me since he is pretty much the typical Isekai protagonist so much so that he appears too OP for the anime series own good. Still it's fun seeing how much he breaks every anime rule.

9 Kazuma Sato

The main male protagonist of Konosuba who's adventures tend to lean more of fan service and funny misadventures. He takes the 10 spot cause when it comes to it he is very reliable when to critical problems. This is a feat specially considering how random and often useless his groups are like that mage that can only cast one spell per day.

8 Kirito

Pretty much one of the most known Isekai protagonist out there Kirito pretty much plows through his enemies with his insane speed and dual wielding ability. Flashy and useful in any fight.  He isn't much of a tactician however and is more skill and luck base compared to the others next on the list.

7 Takuma Sakamoto

Takuma Sakamoto is a gamer who is mysteriously transported to the world like the world of his favorite MMORPG, Cross Reverie, with the appearance of his own character in the game, the Demon Lord Diablo. He possess enough tactical skill and know how to defeat opponents with higher level and equipment than he does.

6 Sora and Shiro

I know these are two separate person but I'll make an exception on this one as they are most effective when they work together as the series No game No Life anime has proven. Collectively known as Blank and transfored to a World were game is life they haven't played a game they can't win.

5 Satoru Mikami

A 35 year old office worker who was reincarnated as a slime in a fantasy world known to everyone there as Rimuru Tempest who's ability can devour other creatures and attain their abilities. This is one Poring you don't want to mess with.

4 Tanya von Degurechaff

Tanya is a young blonde, blue-eyed girl who is the reincarnation of a cold-hearted, atheist and a socio darwinistic Japanese salaryman Don;t let her size fool you she won't lose sleep or blink an eye as she pretty much descipates her enemies in the batttlefield. be it death by gun or magic.

3 Naofumi Iwatani

Naofumi Iwatani, an easygoing Japanese youth, was summoned into a parallel world along with three other young men from parallel universes to become the world's Legendary Heroes and fight inter-dimensional hordes of monsters called Waves. Being an underrated Shield user he quickly rise up to the challenge to be become a hero he was meant to be.

2 Shirou

The resident wizard of the Log Horizon guild Shiroe is one Isekai protagonist that has earned his spot in second place on how well he can analyze a situation and tactically command his party to overcome any opponent. He makes the devil look meek and milk.

1 Ainz Ooal Gown

Known as Momongga this skeletal Overlord has a list of retainers and servants under him that will do his bidding at a drop of a hat and are all powerful enough to star in their own anime. He won't lose sleep taking out anyone who stands in his way of conquest. Ainz also has enough magical spells and artifacts that will make any spell caster envious.

Well that's it for the Top 10 list. I'd probably didn't add some since I was aiming for those that actually had an impact on me as far as isekai characters go.

With the many isekai anime out there I could probably make another isekai list. Maybe. But for now these are the ones that had a great impact and influence on me as of late. I heard the anime Do you like your mom and her two-hit multi-target attacks is good.
