Deadpool 2 Non Spoiler Review

This will be my Deadpool 2 non Spoiler movie review. I just did a quick review of the first Deadpool movie in preparation for this film. If you folks are interested in reading that you can go follow the link here and come back to reading this afterwards when you're done.  

For those of you who has seen the first film or just want to just get to reading my review on Deadpool 2 then continue reading.

So is Deadpool 2 live up to the awesomeness that is the first Deadpool film? I'm happy to say that in a lot of places it does. It has twice the action, twice the humor and twice the fourth wall breath. They pump up all the good things good about the first Deadpool movie without it being too much. I was worried it would go too much on the jokes that it won't have an actually story.

The story is pretty much what you would see on the trailer, Some future hopping soldier named Cable is out to kill this kid and Wade assembles a team he called the X-Force to stop him from doing it. The plot was simple yet plays out so differently in the film.

The music is better as we get to hear some new tracks made exclusively for the film. The drama, the action, the comedy everything comes together so well that by the end of the movie you end up wanting to see more.

Ryan nails the role of Deadpool once again and the new movie gives his character more depth that he isnt just a merc with a mouth he has a heart too. Zazie as Domino was freaking awesome, her look is off when you compare her to the comics but it grows on you and her powers of luck shows so well in the film. Colossus was great too and some of the other characters as well. The villain is better too this time around. At least compared to the first Deadpool in my opinion.

There's a lot of fourth wall breaks and humor in this film. But its not forced in anyway yet you could probably watch this movie at least twice to get all the references or the jokes since this movie gives you very little time to breath in between fourth wall breaks and humor. This movie takes jabs at anything from DC to Marvel and even mocks its own film.

My only drawback was that the movie could have probably been longer with the extra time given to other characters to give them more moment to shine. Maybe a longer fight scene here and there. But this is a Deadpool movie and not an X-Force movie...at least we dont have one yet.

Overall the movie was great since it totally skips the origin movie that was half of the first film and concentrate on the story elements. Its definitely better than the first film in every way and I can't wait to see what they will do in the next film cause I feel this movie should at least be a trilogy.

Oh and watch out for a before credit scene at the end of the film.
