Started
out as somewhat as a hidden character Sub boss Shadow Chun li character has
appeared in other MvC titles but I'm sure a lot of folks didn't expect to see the
character make the jump to Street Fighter V Arcade Edition around last week.
Combined
with the dreaded Shadowloo technology this crazy amalgamation of fighting style
and sci fi weapons has made a mark for a lot of players. Cause of this Shadow
Chun li is capable special attack techniques like the Shadow Drill, Plasma
Barrier, Rainbow Missile and an Akuma like Raging Demon finisher called Final
Mission.
Sadly
Shadow Chun li appeared as an Extra Boss character and is still not a playable
character for now. But if anything Shadow Chun li has some really OP moves that
makes short work of even the best SF game Streamers on youtube. Just check the
video here.
Shadow Chun li has most of her special attack from MvC from Rainbow Laser to the Final Mission finisher. All that was noticeably missing is his Galaxy Missile which is a scarier version of the Rainbow Missile and the Big Bang Laser which is the MVC version of the Goku's kamehameha move.
As far as combo goes she pretty much can do her usual combo mix ups that's been both loved and dreaded by players. Thankfully she doesn't bring her 100 hit combo from MvC or she would be near impossible to take down. Also I love how she leaves a shadow image of herself when she moves in SF V AE.
Adding Shadow Chun li is a wonderful addition to Street Fighter V that will no doubt touch the hearts of many Capcom fighters heart with pure nostalgia. And I'm sure I'm not the one wishing Capcom will make her a playable character in the future.
With Shadow Chun li making it's way to Street Fighter V I'm wondering if we will see if other crazy characters from the MvC like Shadow Nash, Mech Zangief and Cyber Akuma. We can only cross our fingers and hope.
Just check out this awesome youtube video of desk that compares the MvC Shadow Chun li with the Street Fighter V AE version.
