Samgyupsalamat - Best bang for your Buck Unli Korean Barbecue in the Metro

With over 20 branches and counting in and around the Metro Samyupsalamat has been a consistent favorite for those that crave a good unli korean menu and simply just to scratch the craving for that delicious korean barbecue taste.

Whether you are into food blogging or just a food casual who craves that authentic korean barbecue you will find something to love in Samyupsalamat as they offer something very few korean barbecue restaurant can match.

If you folks want to try Samyupsalamat I'd suggest going on Mondays or any day of the week that isn't friday. Specially avoid the weekends as well as those are the most busy days according to one of the waitress we talked to. Also if possible go in the afternoon as those are their usual happy Hours to avail of their discounts.

We sadly went there on a friday which was a big mistake as the queue line was very long. We got there at around 3:15 in the afternoon but we weren't seated until around near 7 pm that night so we are very a bit grumpy and hungry. We also found out that the branch that we went to had limited side dish and didn't have the cheese fondue and gravy. Not good for our first time. The second time was a lot better thankfully.

What sets Samyupsalamat from other unli korean barbecue houses are the wide selection as they offer 5 different pork and 4 different beef slices with unlimited side dishes and ice tea for only around 499 or 449 if you go early or before closing time. They close around 2 am so you can still go there after a movie or after work.

Unlike most unli korean dive that offers hot plate and blue flame grill cooking the meats in Sangyupsalamat are cooked via charcoal grill so it retains much of the flavor and texture. Just take mind of what meat and pork you order cause some of them are way too over seasoned and I'm not sure everyone will be ok with that.

They got the typical unli korean dips, steamed egg, lettace, small marble potatoes, onions, etc. Be mindful of how you cook the meat as they tend to overcook easily since there's little control on how hot the charcoal can get. Also don't order food you can't finish as there's a fine for the leftovers. I often dip their beef into the cheese fondue and wrapping it with the lettuce in some sort of a grilled beef burger concoction. Yummy.

Overall Samyupsalamat is a great unli beef and pork food experience for those willing to wait the long queue lines it often has. The long wait and variety they offer is worth it considering the favor and unique korean barbecue experience they offer. Definitely worth the price. With currently 9 available beef and pork variety there's something for every korean barbecue lover out there. Definitely a must try food experience.
