The
year 2018 is over and its been a really awesome year with movies some great and
some not so good. I was planning to do My Top 10 Best movies of the year but
the year isn't over yet so Ill do one better and do a My Top 10 Most Anticipated
Movie for 2019. Trailers and what not has been popping up so I guess now is a
good time as any to make one.
With so many movies scheduled for next year it's a good sign that a lot of your favorites aren't going to make this list since this are mostly movies I'm specifically excited about. This is a tough list to make since there are a lot of movies I'm also excited to see that didn't make the Top 10 list.

Detective Pikachu
Fans
of Pokemon wanted a live action of the beloved franchise for a long time. I'm
not a big fan of the game but I'm excited on how this one will turn out in
2019.

Shazam
Shazam
used to be a favorite from way back. I like how they didn't shy away from the
fact that he is just a kid with superman like powers. Hope they bring Mary Marvel
and the others even as a cameo in the film.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
The
third film in the HOTYD franchise. This movie will most likely put a close to
the Toothless and Hiccup story arc and hopefully pave the way for future stories
in the franchise.
7 The Lion KIng
A
retelling of the classic story of Simba now done in full 3d render. There is
been mix reactions to this movie as some think we don't need to have one but since
the Jungle Book had the same type of treatment and was well received it's no
surprise Disney will try it on its other titles.

The Lego Movie 2
The
Lego movie was a surprise big hit and its back again with somewhat of a
continuation of the story. The post apocalypse and sci fi elements they show in
the trailer looks interesting. Also it has LEGO batman in it so that's always a
win.

Wonder Woman 1984
A
Wonder Woman set in the 1984. A pretty much a movie treatment of the Linda
Carter version which is mostly set in the same timeline. It's interesting on
how they will approach this one after the success of the first WW film.
4 Godzilla King of Monsters
Although
there has been mixed reaction to the film this new Godzilla movie sets up the
monster universe they were going for with not just two but four monsters on
screen. Hopefully more monster and monster fights.
3 Captain Marvel
Been a fan of Captain Marvel since the comics so I'm super hyped that she is having her own movie. Hope they pay some kind of homage to her black warbird outfit in this film in some way. Also wished they put Rogue in this but that's just me.

Starwars Episode IX
Although
the Last jedi has pretty much divided the Starwars fandom there is still no
denying that a lot of us are still hyped at what the last episode of this brand
new movie trilogy to offer specially since the last film left with a lot of
questions unanswered. There's no trailer yet for this film but theres some leaked set photos like the one above.

Avengers Endgame
Avengers
Infinity War was clearly left fans emotionally and we can't wait to see how
everything plays out as heroes pick up the pieces and try to claim a win
against an enemy far bigger than their own. Countless fan theories has been
made and will be tested when this movie hits theaters next year.
