Teen Titans GO to the Movies Jollibee Kiddie Meal Toy Review

Teen Titans GO to the Movies toys was released at Jollibee stores on the very same day as the August release date of the Teen Titans GO to the Movies in the Philippines. I'm not into Teen Titans when it comes to toys since I feel they seem to lack the charm and appeal of the series they represent.

Teen Titans GO to the Movies toys from the kiddie meal Jollibee toys seem to have hit the nail in the head this time around that I simply had to buy all five of the entire set and make a toy review of it.

The toy lineup consist of all five main Teen Titans GO characters from the movies. Sadly no villains or other superhero characters that were also in the Teen Titans GO movie was included in this set. I guess that would have been too much to ask.

First up we take a look at Robin who is the leader with nice pose as if calling up the charge for the team with the famous "Titans GO!" as he looks all regal and epic. The figure is nicely painted and a well painted action figure that would fit well into any collectors shelve nicely.

Robins figure comes with three yellow dics that you can load into the toys base pedestal and launch by pressing the button sticking at the back. You can load all three disc in the flatform but it can only fire one disc at a time.

Each of the three are of the same color but have their own unique design etched on each of them. Robins "R" logo, Robins boomerang and the Teen Titans Go to the Movies title respectively. Personally it be much cooler if they took the time to paint the disc as well.

Next up is Beast Boy which is another fine toy figure. Excellently crafter the figure is good enough to display on its own. Sadly though mine has a bad paint finish at the back with parts of the black part peeled off which I forgot to check since I was in a hurry since I was going to see the movie that day. Try to check the figures if you can before buying them if you can specially if you're a toy collector.

The figure comes with a green pterodactyl accessory complete with mask and wings which you can put on Beastboy himself although the mask part is kind of lose for my piece and it keeps falling off when I put it on but nothing a few bending won't fix.

The wings also has a short flapping movement thanks to a button at the back of the wings. Overall a decent figure

Then we take a look at Cyborg. A nice figure overall with a switch at the back that lets his left arm move up and down. He comes with two weapon accessories that you can put on each hand which is a chain saw and a blaster kind of like what Megaman uses. The figure could probably use more grey specially Cyborgs armor.

You can swap the weapons on each hand too his feet doesn't align with his flatform but his legs are soft enough that you can stretch them apart so they fit the corresponding leg slots for a nice fit.

Now we go to Starfire in a jumping flying pose. her right leg fits in the slot in a pedestal stand that comes with the toy. Decently sculpted figure although her outfit which is just colored purple could have used a touch of grey specially on the arms since they seem to forgot to paint her armband on this one.

Theres a switch on the back of her pedestal that launches her into the air shortly. Theres also a bonus gimmick which is a switch at the back that makes her eyes glow green much like how Starfire is in the show specially when she's angry.

Lastly we go to Raven who is another well sculpted figure. She attaches to her pedestal via a short pole attached at the back of her cape. Its nicely painted although they could probably gone and painted her mouth too but thats just me. The pole at the back allows for some up and down movement for raven making her look like shes floating.

There's also a switch at the back of Ravens head that makes her eyes glow red which is common in the cartoon series when she's about to cast some spell. I'm glad they took the time to paint the gold belt on her outfit and the necklace choker thing on her neck on this one. Overall a good figure.

Teen Titans GO to the Movies is a nicely sculpted toy set. I'm happy at how well they look on display making them almost as great as those high end Teen Titans toy merchandise out in toy stores. Some of the toys paint could use a little work but it's not too much of a problem considering these are kids toys that you can repaint to your liking. I'd suggest getting the entire just for how  well each toy piece compliments each other.
