A Top Ten Female Anime list has been done more often than I can count so I've decided to do one myself but instead of using well known series I've decided to do one from underrated and less known anime. Some may argue on what anime is truly underrated and a lot of folks have different opinions on what is underrated for them so I'm sure a lot of anime characters won't make this list. So for that I apologize in advance.
I originally wanted to post this months ago but I can't seem to find the right timing to do one and stuff keep pilling up one after the other that it was kept being held back. In any case better now than never I guess. That being said I'd like to hear what you think also. In any case let us get on with the Top 10 Underrated Anime Girls.
10 Canaan from the Canaan (TV Series)
9 Jo from Burst Angel
Known
as "The Angel from Hell" Jo is a skilled firearms explosives and hand
to hand. She has impressive aim and is often seen wielding a pair of desert
eagle and pilots a mech named Jango. Her real name is Jo Carpenter and has a
glowing tattoo that boost her stamina and reflexes. She is extremely good at
her job and has walked away victorious against impossible odds.
8 Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi from Cross Ange
Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi is the first princess of the noble
Misurugi Empire. Stripped of her title and forced to live in a military base
where she pilots "paramail" transforming mechs. She has the tenacity
and skill to go up against even the most skilled pilots. Her appeal stems from
the fact that she's probably the most hated character in the series yet become
the one to save everyone...even those that probably wanted her dead. She could
easily have been a villain but didn't.
7 Julis Riessfield from Asterisk War
Julis is a princess of Lieseltania, a small country in Europe
and is a student at Seidoukan Academy. She wields a rapier and has control over
fire. She might be your typical female tsundere type but raises up to the
challenge when the situation calls for it. She can be cold but will go the
distance to achieve her goals and to protect those that she finds dear.
6 Emilia Crossfode from Hundreds
One
of the female protagonist of the anime Hundred, Emilia often poses as a boy to
hide the fact that she is Emilia Gutenberg and that she also poses the ability of a Variant
type which allows her to use a multitude of Hundred abilities in combat. In
fact she has a higher score than the main protagonist of the series. She is often cool and easy going but gets jealous easily which leads to a lot of misunderstanding.
5 Yuki Nonaka from Testament Sister New Devil
Being
a member of the Hero Clan Yuki has a number of abilities at her disposal like
Superhuman strength, superhuman speed, enhance healing and magic resistance.
She is also a master swordswoman. She may look frail but she has hold her own
with opponents many times bigger and stronger than she is.
4 Leone from Akame ga kill
A
member of the assassination group known as the Night Raid. Although task as
information gathering she is a feared opponent with a fighters instinct rarely
matched by others in their group. She can tell a person fighting skill just by
looking at them and her melee ability and regenerative capacity is beyond
superhuman. She has enhance speed, strength, reflexes, regeneration and a
danger sense.
2 Clare from Claymore
A female Claymore and the
Organization's No. 47 during her generation which was the 150th
generation of Claymores. She is 1/4 Yoma and thus has incredible strength and
ultra fast lightning speed reflexes. She can also absorb the skills and
abilities of other Yoma making Clare a far more formidable opponent. She won't hesitate to cut down her opponent at the drop of a hat.
3 Chiffon Fairchild from Freezing
Real
name Chiffon Aoi, She appears to be goofy and timid but when put into a corner
she can be a real beast and will rip her enemies arm off in a heartbeat. She
can be sadistic when she reach her limits. Shes one of the most powerful
characters in the Freezing anime series but doesn't flaunt it unless provoked.
She is far from perfect yet despite all her faults Chiffons heart is in the
right place and will go out of her way and risk everything to fight and defend
those that she would call her friends.

Arcuied Brunstud from Tsukihime (TV Series)
The white Princess of the True Ancestor that is likened to vampire royal family. Acruied being one of the most powerful True Ancestor created was specifically task to hunt down the fallen True Ancestors. Very few can match Arcuied in terms of strength, speed. One of her power stems from the world itself and she is unaffected by most attack and is mostly immortal and unkillable during the night specially during a full moon. She has taken hits from attacks that can very well kill those considered gods in her world.
