What is Project X - the Search for the New Pinoy Superheroes

Have you ever had one of those times when you just finished watching a great superhero movie or superhero series and thought to yourself you can do something similar or better. Or maybe your those that think that you can make a Superhero series with a certain local or Pinoy flare. A new Pinoy superhero that everyone will love and will swoop the international Superhero world by storm. If you feel you have such a Pinoy Superhero character up your alley than joining Project X The Search for the New Pinoy Superheroes is definitely the one for you.

Project X - The Search for the New Pinoy Superheroes is an idea of DV Tech Media Corp., partnering with ComicCon Asia 2018, a contest that aims to search for the next generation Pinoy superhero – and bring it to life thru the power of imaginative storytelling. A New Pinoy Superhero that embodies the Filipino values and theme as a superhero and role model for the new generation.

A digital making contest which purpose is to reinvigorate the Filipino superhero industry of the Philippines by bringing out the creative prowess of the Filipino people to create a Superhero phenomena that will hopefully sweep the local superhero franchise and the eventually the international superhero world.

There are a lot of talented Filipinos in the Philippines who are known in the superhero industry for their talent and creativity worldwide. Personally I also think its about time the creative folks of the Philippines to step up their game and make something really uniquely our own. This isnt about just about fancy costumes or powers but more on creative local theme and values that makes up the superhero with a Filipino flavor. 

Project X idea also plays upon on educating the local Filipinos on the vastness of the superhero universe in the Philippines and aims to inspire Filipino artists to pitch their own original notion of who and what makes up the next Pinoy Superhero. Local Pinoy Superhero characters that embodies the Filipino Values and Culture in parts and in whole and initially have younger generation Filipinos get attached to these characters and or see them as good role models of good Filipino values.

Don't have drawing talents? Then find someone who can and team up. Not familiar with video editing and the likes get someone who does. There is really nothing wrong with it and if ever it helps a lot in the creative side of things. The contest is open to collaborative entries so theres really nothing from stopping anyone from entering. Perseverance is key.

If you think you got what it takes then its time to show your Creativity and get a Chance to win a whopping P150,000 for the first price. The first runner up will get P50,000 and the second runner up will get P30,000.
