RWBY Volume 5 Chapter 10 Reaction

This is my reaction and commentary about RWBY Chapter 10 of Volume 5 of the series. Its created my Monty Oum. Ive been a Monty Oum fan since viewing his work on Dead Fantasy on youtube a few years back. I was even more delighted when I found out he also did work on Red vs Blue which I was also following back then. Ill probably do a quick reaction on the RWBY trailers and a summary reaction on the first RWBY volumes to keep things updated.

RWBY is an American anime-style web series created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. The show is set in the fictional world of Remnant, where young people train to become Huntsmen and Huntresses to protect their world from the creatures of Grimm.

For the last time Ruby no more cookies

The Chapter opens up with Qrow and Oscar/Ozpin in their room in haven as the pool over their future plans and how many of their close friends has gone missing. A sure sign that this series is getting Grimm. (<--- see what I did there). Ruby Rose joins them and we get to learn more about the Relic and the Maidens. This chapter also answered a question about Ospin's cane a lot of fans have been asking since Volume 3. Im calling it now. That 's a lever for some magical vault somewhere.

Raven found out Leo's been cheating in Monopoly

Then we jump into Leo Lionhaerts office to find him and Raven having a private chat. Some time might have passed since we see Raven Bronwen is now in Haven (<--oh that rhymed) Academy probably with the help of Salem's group since her semblance allows her to teleport to either Qrow or Yang and those two would have seen or sensed her if she made a portal to either of the two. The rest of Raven's tribe seem to be scattered elsewhere after that scene in the previous Chapter and strangely Vernal is not with her this time. We learn how much of a grip Salem has on the Academy and its headmaster Leo. To him and Raven.

Then its to the Belladona's household as the White Fang is continuing their attack. Blake also uses her semblance a lot in this episode as she and Sun fight off the White Fang that has invaded her home. hats off to Kali for her improvisation in terms of weapons on the fly. Jackie Chan would be so proud. I like how Ghera is this powerhouse of a faunus that will mess you up big time and that despite being in a beast mode can fight smart without going all out savage. Guess theres a reason why he used to be a former leader of the Fang.

I like how the writers wrap up this issue with Ilia and Blake without going into much detail and not it being feeling rushed in any way. A plus since each RWBY episode has a short run time. That being said I still kind of wish we gotten a longer fights in this Chapter specially for Kali in particular. I would love to see her use her semblance also. Fans that ship Ilia and Blake is going to enjoy this so much. These two are probably the LGBT ship that is somewhat officially canon at the moment.

We will probably get this big fight for Haven in the next chapter or around the finally of Volume 5 Hopefully Blake will be united with the rest of her teammates soon. I just hope Qrow doesnt bit the dust or there will be a lot of upset fans...me included.
