So the new
year has just rolled in and a lot of folks are probably still recovering from
the crazy roller coaster ride of movies that that got every otaku, geek and
everyone else in between. Some movies being a hit and miss at the box office
and at the fans hearts. Love them or hate them we can all agree that last year
was an awesome year for geeks and fans alike.
So Ive
decided to make a Top Ten list of my most anticipated movie of 2018. Theres a
lot of great movies coming out this year but Ill
Ready Player One
Based on a
book with the same name its basically a treasure hunt inside a virtual reality
world game for the ultimate prize inside the virtual reality game known as the OASIS, the discovery of which will lead him to inherit a fortune in a world wrecked by an energy crisis. If you've seen the trailer you will
know this movie is littered with pop culture references and Easter eggs.

Tomb Raider
I know a
Tomb Raider movie has been done before and its mostly a hit and miss after that
one. So whats the difference? This new film looks and feel like its straight
out of the latest Tomb Raider video game than it had ever been.
The
Incredibles 2
Its been a
good decade or more since the first Incredibles movie came out and fans of the
original have been asking Disney and Pixar for a sequel since. Theres really not much
known about this except what little is shown in the teaser trailers but thats
enough to get fans excited for this one.

Fantastic
Beast the Crimes of Grindelwald
Fans of the
Harry Potter franchise will have a great time as this year the sequel to Fantastic
Beast and Where to Find Them will hit theaters this year. This time it goes deeper into the Harry Potter series rich magical history fans have grown to love.
Black
Panther
Fans loved
the Black Panther when it debut on Avengers Civil War. This movie promises to
explore the mythos and rich history behind the character. We will get to see the Panthers home and the technology and the politics that works within The trailer had more
than enough got a lot of folks interested me included.
Big
freaking robot mechs that fight off aliens whats there to not like? This is like
every kids dream...adn a lot of adults too. The first movie showed that it can
do a big giant robot fight in the big screen and the second movie promises to
double the excitement.
Solo: A Starwars Movie
The second
Anthology movie based out of the original Starwars main story, the Han Solo
will explore Han Solo in her younger years before he met up with that boy that
saved the Galaxy. It promised to show the gritty side of the Starwars criminal
world and tales of high space adventure.
Deadpool 2
After the
great success of the first Deadpool film, Ryan is set to bring back the same
old PG13 humor and action we all love with this sequel. It will have a lot of
returning characters as well as a few new ones like Cable and Domino.
Avengers: Infinity
War
The great
villain Thanos is finally going to make his presence felt as Infinity War rolls
in. A lot of folks will probably die in this film, and whole cities will be
reduced to rubble as the mad titan sets his eyes to universal domination. And
me and a lot of fans cant wait to see it on the big screen.
